Well, Collin, in hopefully the near-ish future, we’ll be making more decisions for ourselves based on our OWN metrics… of resonance with a subject and its writer, of how that resonance creates valuable insight to the point at which we can spread it outward to others. Kinda like what’s happening here.

Good evening. About three-fourths of the way through your observations here, I recalled a veterinarian story set in N Yorkshire between the wars of the last century, where the hero of that chapter gets offered a pint from a farmer who's seen about enough of his neighbors' selfish, berating behavior toward a fellow just trying to do his job, with this observation: "Here, mate, take it. Cheaters shouldn't prosper." For me, the question has become "How on earth do I deny the cheaters the chance to prosper?", especially given the thoroughness, breadth and depth of how enshittified a "system" we've accepted?
Oh, and by the way, I didn't at all mind the ruminative meander your prior 'stack took. A little like wandering into a used book store for me. Found things a wasn't looking for...
